Grouping

Grouping changes how books are organized inside the current Book List.
Unlike sorting, grouping creates sections based on a shared property.
Available Groups
Section titled “Available Groups”Books can be grouped by many different properties, including:
- Author
- Series
- Categories
- Reading Status
- Ownership
- Publisher
- Language
- Store
- Format
Additional grouping options may be available depending on the current Book List.
Grouping vs Sorting
Section titled “Grouping vs Sorting”Grouping answers the question:
How should these books be organized?
Sorting answers the question:
In what order should they appear?
Both can be used together.
For example:
- Group by Series
- Sort by Publication Date
This displays every series separately while keeping the books inside each series in chronological order.
