Reading History and Sessions

BookVault records reading at two levels:

A read-through represents one complete journey through a book. A reading session is one progress update within that journey.

Review a read-through

Open an entry in the book’s Reading section to see its start and finish dates, total pages or listening time, time spent reading, pace, rating, notes, and number of sessions.

Review and correct sessions

Each session can record its date, format, progress reached, pages or listening position, time spent, and notes. Sessions remain editable, and BookVault recalculates affected statistics after a correction.

Delete reading data

Delete an individual session when only that update is incorrect. Deleting the entire read-through also removes all sessions inside it, so review the entry carefully before confirming.

Tip

Marking a book as read records a completion. Logging sessions produces richer insights about pace, time, daily goals, and streaks.
