Every Book List includes a search field.
Unlike the online search used to add books, this search only looks through the books currently being displayed.
For example:
If you’re browsing the Fantasy category, searching for “Sanderson” only searches your Fantasy books.
It does not search your entire library.
Searching Within a Collection
Section titled “Searching Within a Collection”Search works alongside every other Book List tool.
You can combine:
- View
- Filters
- Grouping
- Sorting
- Search
to create exactly the view you need.
For example:
- Browse Fantasy books
- Filter to unread books
- Group by Series
- Sort by Publication Date
- Search for “Stormlight”
BookVault remembers these settings while you’re using the current Book List, allowing you to explore your library efficiently.
