Backup and Sync
iCloud Sync and backups protect your library in different ways. For the strongest protection, use both.
iCloud Sync
Section titled “iCloud Sync”Enable iCloud Sync to keep your library synchronized across supported Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Changes made on one device can then appear on the others.
Sync keeps a shared library current; it is not a historical backup.
Create a backup
Section titled “Create a backup”BookVault backups are portable files containing the app’s library data. Create one on demand before a major change, when moving data, or whenever you want an extra recovery point.
Automatic backups
Section titled “Automatic backups”Choose a destination folder, how often BookVault should create a backup, and how many recent files to keep. Available schedules include every 6 hours, every 12 hours, daily, every 3 days, and weekly.
Restore safely
Section titled “Restore safely”Restoring replaces the current library with the selected backup. Review the backup and follow the confirmation steps carefully before proceeding.
