Logging Reading Progress
BookVault tracks your progress through individual reading sessions.
Every time you sit down to read, you can record another session.
Recording Progress
Section titled “Recording Progress”Each reading session can include:
- Current page
- Reading time
- Reading date
- Personal notes
As new sessions are added, BookVault automatically updates the overall progress of the book.
Reading Time
Section titled “Reading Time”Recording the time spent reading is optional, but highly recommended.
Many statistics, including your total reading time and reading pace, are generated from this information.
Reading Notes
Section titled “Reading Notes”Each reading session supports optional notes.
Some readers use these as a reading journal to record:
- Thoughts
- Predictions
- Favorite moments
- Chapter summaries
Session notes remain attached to that specific reading session.
Updating Progress
Section titled “Updating Progress”You don’t need to record every page you read.
Simply update your progress whenever it feels natural.
BookVault will continue calculating your overall progress automatically.
