Finishing a Book
When you finish reading a book, BookVault records the completed read in your reading history.
You can finish a book in two ways:
- Reach the end naturally by logging reading sessions.
- Use Mark as Read if you’ve already finished the book outside BookVault.
Mark as Read
Section titled “Mark as Read”Mark as Read is perfect for books you’ve already completed before using BookVault.
Instead of recreating your reading sessions, you can simply record the completed book.
Reading Details
Section titled “Reading Details”When finishing a book, you can record:
- Finish date
- Total pages read
- Rating
- Personal notes
Everything can be edited later if necessary.
Ratings
Section titled “Ratings”BookVault supports both five-star and ten-star rating systems.
Half-star ratings can also be enabled from Library Settings.
Reading Notes
Section titled “Reading Notes”Your final notes describe your thoughts about the book after finishing it.
Unlike session notes, these are intended as an overall reflection on the complete reading experience.
