Do I need to complete every book field?
Section titled “Do I need to complete every book field?”No. Add only the information that helps you. Every field remains editable, so you can enrich a book later.
What is the difference between an edition and a format?
Section titled “What is the difference between an edition and a format?”An edition is a particular published version of a work, with details such as language, publisher, cover, and publication date. A format is how that edition exists in your collection: hardcover, paperback, ebook, or audiobook.
Can I own more than one copy?
Section titled “Can I own more than one copy?”Yes. Add multiple formats to an edition, or link separate editions when the versions have their own publishing details.
Can I track a book I do not own?
Section titled “Can I track a book I do not own?”Yes. Reading status and ownership are separate. You can track a wishlist book or a book borrowed from a library or friend.
Can I reread a book without losing the first read?
Section titled “Can I reread a book without losing the first read?”Yes. Starting it again creates another read-through while preserving the earlier dates, rating, notes, and sessions.
Can I switch between print, ebook, and audiobook?
Section titled “Can I switch between print, ebook, and audiobook?”Yes. Choose one format as the progress reference, then record sessions with other formats while keeping the equivalent reference position current.
Why is a book missing from Next?
Section titled “Why is a book missing from Next?”Next focuses on books you own by default. Enable wishlist books in Next under Settings → Library if you want them included.
Why are some statistics empty?
Section titled “Why are some statistics empty?”Statistics use the information you record. Reading sessions power time, pace, daily goals, and streaks; metadata powers insights about authors, categories, formats, and purchases.
Do imports count toward the free limit?
Section titled “Do imports count toward the free limit?”No. Supported Goodreads and Book Track imports do not count toward the 20-book free limit.
Should I create backups if I use iCloud Sync?

Does importing from Goodreads change my account?
